It features a 3-stage locking lever that conveniently saves your load of time & effort from sliding the camera across the dovetail to finally remove it. Also, the vertical release feature comes in handy when you have to quickly mount & switch your camera among multiple supports, such as a rig, dolly, or tripod. You can easily swap between ARRI & RED standard configurations via the provided interchangeable input plates for the respective camera setup. This High-Grade Aluminum bridge plate includes 3/8"-16 camera screws, an ARRI-standard rosette, and 3/8"-16 accessory threads for mounting the accessories.
Moreover, a 19mm rod support system is additionally provided to facilitate mounting various studio-based accessories like a follow focus, lens support, etc. The locking mechanism includes three phases, the middle stage of which has a safety button to prevent any accidental releases.Locked - Bridgeplate is secured to the dovetail. Middle - Allows sliding back & forth to position the camera for optimal balance. Open - Bridgeplate is disengaged from the dovetail, so the camera can be lifted off.
