New Hejnar Photo adapter for Newport 423 linear stagemwith Arca Type Clamp (Newport Linear Stage not included). This plate let you mount Arca Swiss clamp on top of Newport 423 linear stage and use with any arca swiss compatible equipment.
Arca Swiss type is the best quick release system for tripods and monopods when combined with Arca style ball head and quick release clamps. Markins including level release clamp. Really Right Stuff, including level release plate. Vanguard ABH Series Ball Heads (ABH is Vangaurds only Arca-Compatible series).
Other Arca swiss type products. Socket is countersunk on top for 1/4-20 or M6 screw, but also threaded 3/8-16. Two outside holes are taped 1/4-20 and 45mm apart from each other. 2.6mm deep relief grooves guarantee compatibility with most plates/rails.
Relief groove prevents free fall when the clamp is not fully closed and your plate has safety stops. Knob stops at maximum opening - cannot be lost in the field.
Clamp knob is made from one piece. No spacers or bushing between knob and clamp itself.
