It's really too heavy for this camera! The head is rated for 14 pounds. I also used to have an S1h with a full cage and atomos on this head. Also no problem for a Komodo. But - my giant camera is too much for this!

It's worked fine and it locks well, but the counter balance weight is limited to 14lbs. And that is important to me when I shoot on a 1200mm and need tripod head safety. I need to be sure the camera will bounce back if I let go. No problem for smaller cameras like a Black magic. The half ball mount can be easily removed.
