Arca Swiss Conversion Package for Manfrotto 222. New Hejnar Photo Conversion package for Manfrotto 222 Joystick Head. By removing your current RC2 clamp you can convert Joystick head to standard Arca Swiss connections.
It is the best quick release system for tripods and monopods when combined with Arca style ball head, quick release clamps, plates and rails. Package include conversion plate and Arca swiss type clamp. Clamp has Laser engraved scale with 1 mm intervals, longer lines every 5 mm and numbers every 10 mm.
The numbering begins from the center F mark increasing outwards on both sides. This is very helpful for a precise camera base plate or lens plate adjustment within the clamp either fore-aft or laterally depending of course on the orientation of the dovetail plate. Conversion can be mounted in any direction on Manfrotto 222.
Clamp knob can be facing back or side (see pictures). Clamp when removed from conversion plate can be use with other than Manfrotto 222 equipment. To attached conversion package to Manfrotto 222 simple remove original RC2 clamp, attached conversion plate in orientation you prefer using original Manfrotto screw and than using two provided screws mount clamp on plate. All the corners and edges are rounded for the safety to prevent from accidental injuries or damages to the other equipment. Vanguard ABH Series Ball Heads (ABH is Vangaurds only Arca-Compatible series).

This prevents free fall when the clamp is not closed. 2.6mm deep relief grooves guarantee compatibility with most plates/rails. Relief groove prevents free fall when the clamp is not fully closed and your plate has safety stops. Knob stops at maximum opening - cannot be lost in the field.Clamp knob is made from one piece. No spacers or bushing between knob and clamp itself. No room for dust, sand etc to enter inside.
Tongue-in-pocket Design -Clamps have a tongue-in-pocket design that protects internal parts from. It does prevent the tendency of the moving jaw to hinge backward during clamping, It keeps the jaws aligned with the geometry of the plate and eliminating unwanted bending forces on the threaded stud.
