The G1276M off-centre ball head is the predecessor of the GH2750QR head, and it provides added flexibility over a standard on-axis ball head design, because the tilt housing rotates. This gives much greater versatility for ideal camera positioning when the tripod column is set off-vertical or is inverted. This makes the head an ideal complement for the Explorer series tripods, which have a fully variable column angle to allow ideal camera positioning in even the tightest of confined spaces. This tripod and head combination are also ideal for botanical photography and other low-level macro work.
An example of the positioning flexibility the combination offers is shown in the photos. This head is supplied with two standard quick release plates. The item "Gitzo G1276M off-centre ball head + extra QR plate" is in sale since Friday, March 13, 2020.
